Biography
Ernst Bröer was a cellist and composer of sacred music; around 1840, an organist at Breslau; between 1843-84 a singing teacher at the Matthias Gymnasium. Source: A Biographical Dictionary of Musicians, compiled and edited by Theodore Backer (1900).
