A second mirrored sun and sky | |||
Twins that above as lake shines bright, | |||
And burns in harmony. | |||
A perfect bounce of gilded light | |||
Reflects this mystery. But then | |||
A fish’s lip snaps in the night - | |||
The portrait bursts in shards. | |||
The shining wand of a dragonfly | |||
Glitters and glows in the fading light. | |||
Bright blue and green to catch the eye | |||
Then still, and now is gone. | |||
So. We have seen it, held in thrall. | |||
