Latin text Domine a lingua dolosa, et ab insidiis inimicorum meorum libera me. Lauda anima mea Dominum, laudabo Dominum in vita mea, quia confirmata est super nos misericordia eius, et veritas Domini manet in æternum, Cantate et exultate, quia confundentur qui me persequuntur, Lauda anima mea Dominum, laudabo Dominum in vita mea.

English translation Lord, save me from deceitful tongues and from the snares of my enemies. Praise the Lord, O my soul: while I live will I praise the Lord. For his merciful kindness is great towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Sing and rejoice, because those who pursue me will be confounded. Praise the Lord, O my soul: while I live will I praise the Lord.
