Original text and translations

Latin.png Latin text

(Ps. 87, 14)

Ubi sunt misericordiae tuae, Domine, sicut jurasti David in veritate tua?
Memor esto Domine opprobrii servorum tuorum quod continui in sinu meo multarum gentium. (Ps. 88, 50-51)

English.png English translation

O Lord, the God of my salvation, I have cried in the day, and in the night before thee.
Let my prayer come in before thee, incline thy ear to my petition.
But I, O Lord, have cried to thee, and in the morning my prayer shall prevent thee.

Lord, where are thy mercies, according to what thou didst swear to David in thy truth?
Be mindful, O Lord, of the reproach of thy servants (which I have held in my bosom) of many nations.
