Latin text Dómine, si tu es, júbe me veníre ad te súper áquas. Et exténdens mánum, apprehéndit éum. Et díxit Jésus: Módicae fídei, quáre dubitásti? Cúmque vidísset véntum válidum veniéntem, tímuit, et cum coepísset mérgi, clamávit: Dómine, sálvum me fac. Et exténdens mánum, apprehéndit éum. Et díxit Jésus: Módicae fídei, quáre dubitásti?

English translation "Lord, if it is you, Bid me to come to you on the water." And extending a hand, he caught him. And Jesus said, "Of little faith, why did you doubt?" For when he saw a strong wind coming, he was afraid, and as he began to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!" And extending a hand, he caught him. And Jesus said, "Of little faith, why did you doubt?"
