Diliges Dominum Deum tuum,
Ex toto corde tuo,
Et in tota anima tua,
Et in tota mente tua:
Diliges proximum tuum,
Sicut te ipsum.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart
and with all thy soul and with all thy mind.
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Du wirst [sollst] den Herrn, deinen Gott, lieben,
aus deinem ganzen Herzen
und in deiner ganzen Seele
und in deinem ganzen Geist:
Du wirst [sollst] deinen Nächsten lieben
wie dich selbst.
