Description: First published in Southern Harmony, Edition 7, 1847, p. 199, for three voices: Treble-Tenor-Bass. Words by Philip Doddridge, 1755, with seven stanzas. In Walker's arrangement, Doddridge's meter (C. M.) is doubled and he has rearranged Doddridge's stanzas.
