Der süße Schlaf, der sonst alls stillet wohl,
kann stillen nicht mein Herz mit Trauern voll;
das schafft allein, die mich, die mich erfreuen soll.

Kein Speis noch Trank mir Lust noch Nahrung geit,
kein Kurzweil ist, die mir mein Herz erfreut,
das schafft allein, die mir im Herzen leit.

Kein Gsellschafft ich nit mehr besuchen mag,
Ganz einig sitz in Unmut Tag und Nacht,
das schafft allein, die ich im Herzen trag.

In Zuversicht allein gen ihr ich hang,
und hoff, sie soll mich nit verlassen lang,
sonst fiel ich gwiss ins bittern Todes Zwang.
