Italian text Depon l'arco e l'orgoglio, Amor ch'à te non lice, Mai piu chiamarti valoros'ardito, Poich'un' pulce ha ferito Il bianco petto della mia fenice, Che già gran tempo sai, Che l'arme spendi e nol piagasti mai.
