Latin text Decantabat populus Israel et universa multitudo Iacob canebat legitime et David cum cantoribus citharam percutiebat[pulsabat] in domo Domini, Alleluia. German translation Das Volk trug Israel Gesänge vor, und die gesamte Menge Jakobs sang trefflich. Und David mit seinen Sängern spielte auf der Zither, schlug die Zither im Hause des Herrn. Alleluja.

English translation The people did sing in Israel, and the whole congregation of Jacob did sing together, and David with the singers played the lute in the temple of the Lord. Alleluia.
