Latin text Decantabat populus laudem. Alleluia. Et universa multitudo canebat legitime. Et David cum cantoribus citharam percutiebat in domo Domini. Et laudes Deo canebat. Alleluia. Variant 1 Decantabat populus Israel et universa multitudo Iacob canebat legitime et David cum cantoribus citharam percutiebat[pulsabat] in domo Domini, et laudes Deo canebat. Alleluia.   German translation Das Volk trug Israel Gesänge vor, und die gesamte Menge Jakobs sang trefflich. Und David mit seinen Sängern spielte auf der Zither, schlug die Zither im Hause des Herrn. Und sang dem Herrn Lob. Alleluja.

English translation The people did sing sing out praise. Alleluia. And the whole multitude sang mightily, and with his singers, David played the harp in the house of the Lord, and sang praises to God. Alleluia. Variant 1 The people did sing in Israel, and the whole congregation of Jacob did sing together, and David with the singers played the lute in the temple of the Lord. And sang praises to the Lord.
