De Mey komt onsseer lieflijk aen,
de baen wort nu betreden,
hier ter stede.
Met harpen en luiten,
soet geklang, violen en fluiten,
en gezang, hier buyten
in dees contrey: in dese koele Meye.
Van minnaers diehier buyten gaen,
voortaen volcht haer lief mede,
meest in vrede.
