Edition notes: A semi-diplomatoric edition based on the Simone Veronis print: L'Odi della Musica à 3 voci ... Libro Primo, Roma 1596. The Print gives the parts of the voices, an intavolation for harpsichord and an intavolation for Lute in Italian tablature. This edition of the Canzonetta gives the voices in score, and the Harpsichord and Lute intavolations. The Lute intavolation is given both in the Italian tablature and in a transcription to French tablature. When performing with the Harpsichord or the common Lute in G the voices must transpose down a perfect fifth.
