Editor: Jonathan Goodliffe (submitted 2011-09-17).   Score information: A4, 9 pages, 99 kB   Copyright: CPDL
Edition notes: From the Música Colonial Archive. The manuscript indicates that the cantata is to be accompanied by violins and oboe, but there is no oboe part. The oboe part has been recontructed on the basis that in similar works the oboe is ofte played in unison with the first violin, except in passages where the voice is singing.

Recitado

Aria
No hay mas trofeo,
que aspire el deseo,
si le consiguió,
no, no, no, no.
Que en sacrificio,
por beneficio,
amor le dio.

Recitado
El nevado accidente
es de su gloria candida cortina
que nos encubre tanta luz divina
porque el disfraz fineza represente
en la cofera luciente
donde a vita triunfante y victorioso,
adalid cuidadoso
de las almas amantes
franqueando remedios abundantes,
con generoso zelo
y en sus dolencias júbilo y consuelo.

Aria
Respire triunfante
el alma que amante
busca su favor.
Si en lo que padesce
mas gloria merece
y logra abundante
el premio de amor.
