Come to the Mountain of the Lord
Text by Nathan Howe
Come to the Mountain of the Lord,
Rejoicing in His presence;
Hungry for wisdom from on high,
Come to the Mountain of the Lord,
Clothed in His name and glory.
For generations gone before,
The spirit of Elijah
Calls to perform the work of love:
Come to the Mountain of the Lord,
Hearts turning to your fathers.
For generations yet to be,
The power of the Priesthood
Seals us with God in covenant.
Come to the Mountain of the Lord,
Where families are forever.
Come from the Temple of our God
With strength to share His gospel,
Bringing the world into His fold:
"Come to the Mountain of the Lord!"
Angels are round about you.
