per far del Ciel'acquisto
sù levisi da terra,
et venga à farsi cavallier di Christo.
Chi non ha cuor non vada,
chi teme d'arc'ò fiomba,
ritornisi per strada,
che poi non fugga al primo suon di tromba.
Tu dolce mio Signore,
perch'io non fussi vinto,
soffristi ogni dolore
e in campo aperto rimanesti estinto.
Et io per te ne foco
sopporto, ne flagello,
ma temo un picciol gioco
de fanciulli, che dican' vello vello.
Or che grave cordoglio,
lo scudo che gittai,
hoggi ripigliar' voglio,
ripigliar' voglio, e non lasciarlo mai.
