¡Á terra cos defuntos!

E por lousa daraslle o negro olvido
i a nada lle darás por simiterio.

Portuguese translation Cava ligeiro, cava,
gigante pensamento;
cava um fundo buraco onde a memória
do passado enterremos.
À terra c'os defuntos!
Cava, cava ligeiro!
E por lápide, darás-lhe o negro esquecimento
e a nada lhe darás por cemitério.
