Category:Easter 6
The Sixth Sunday of Easter is also known the 5th Sunday after Easter Dominica V post Pascha, Vocem jucunditatis, after the introit, or Rogate from the custom of replacing it with a Rogation Sunday.
In the three-year Lectionaries the Gospel of John 16:23-30 (Jesus speaks of the Father) is replaced by John 14:15-21 (the Spirit of Truth, Year A), John 15:9-17 ("the servant is not greater than the master", Year B), and John 14:23-29 ("Let not your hearts be troubled", Year C).
