This snow means business.
Waiting for a train on this freezing platform
I watch it cascade from the roof like a
waterfall, rise swirling from the tracks like a
wraith. The pellets that powder my gloves
are as sharp and dry as salt.
Next to me a Chinese man is
reading his paper. The unfamiliar characters
fall steadily down the page like
snowflakes.
