Ben mille tutt' ho già passato in pianto
tal che quasi palud'ho fatt'i campi,
al fin m'assis'in una verde vale
et una voci udi per mez'i fassi, dirmi:
“Ecc'hor s'appress'un lieto giorno
che ti farà cantar più dolce rime”.
