Born: 13 February 1912

Died: 3 December 1938

Antonia Pozzi was an Italian poet. Pozzi is considered to be one of the most original voices in modern Italian literature. In her lifetime she wrote 300 poems, all published after her death in 1938, aged 26. Although Pozzi did not gain recognition for her work in her own lifetime, her poems have later been published many times in Italy, and she has been translated into several languages.
