Life

Born: 1802

Died: 1885

Andrew W. Johnson was a merchant, tunebook compiler, and composer in middle Tennessee. He married Susan F. Ellis in Rutherford County, Tennessee, on September 4, 1838. They moved to neighboring Bedford County before 1841, and to Cornersville in Marshall County by 1853; he and his wife are buried there. Susan F. (Ellis) Johnson, b. January 12, 1816, d. April 21, 1898 (Eskew 2001).
