Alma parens Redemptoris Virgo Mater Salvatoris
magni sponsa Creatoris angelorum gloria.
Vera cæli porta manes et amanti semper pates tuta,
maris stella nites procellarum Domina.
Tu per undas æstuantis vitæ freti vela regis
ad beatæ regna pacis corda ducens candida.
Eia age Virgo clemens, Virgo cæli decus
ingens tu succurre Virgo petens iam cadenti populo.
Festina propera candentem subleva prolapsum erige
afflictum portege, afflictum prolapsum,
suspirant pectora beata tempora non ultra cadere,
non ultra cadere sed orant surgere.
Tu quæ solo obstupente, tu quæ cælo complaudente
et natura demirante semper Virgo post et ante.
Concepisti stella solem, peperisti luna diem Creatura,
Creatorem Filia Mater Genitorem.
Gabrielis cum ab ore venientis ab amore
audiistis Virgo salve accepisti Mater ave.
Imperatrix angelorum, Dux amica viatorum,
vera salus afflictorum, miserere peccatorum.
Ut semper lætantes et tibi plaudentes,
in terris pugnantes in cælis gaudentes,
semper dicant, semper canant: vive Maria.
Vive parens Redemptoris, vive Mater Salutoris,
vive sponsa Salvatoris, vive Virgo fons amoris.
