Latin text Alma Redemptoris Mater, quae pervia caeli porta manes, et stella maris, succurre cadenti surgere qui curat populo: Tu quae genuisti, natura mirante, tuum sanctum Genitorem: Virgo prius ac posterius, Gabrielis ab ore sumens illud Ave, peccatorum miserere.   German translation (from: Antiphonale zum Stundengebet) Erhabne Mutter des Erlösers, du allzeit offne Pforte des Himmels und Stern des Meeres, komm, hilf deinem Volke, das sich müht, vom Falle aufzustehn. Du hast geboren, der Natur zum Staunen, deinen heiligen Schöpfer. Unversehrte Jungfrau, die du aus Gabriels Munde nahmst das selige Ave, o erbarme dich der Sünder.   Portuguese translation Doce Mãe do Redentor, que permaneces do céu uma porta aberta, e estrela do mar, ajuda teu povo caído que anseia levantar-se; Tu que destes à luz, para espanto da natureza, a teu Santo Criador; Sempre Virgem, que recebestes da boca de Gabriel o "Salve!": tem piedade de nós pecadores!

English translation Loving Mother of the Redeemer, who remains the gate by which we mortals enter heaven, and star of the sea, help your fallen people who strive to rise: You who gave birth, amazing nature, to your sacred Creator: Virgin prior and following, taking from the mouth of Gabriel that Hail! have mercy on our sins.   Korean translation 사랑하올 구원자의 어머니시여, 언제나 천상의 문을 여시는 분. 그리고 바다의 별이시여, 쓰러진 자 도우소서, 백성을 도우시는 이여 일어나소서. 놀라운 소산, 당신의 거룩한 존속을 잉태하신 분이여. 전에도 후에도 동정이시며, 가브리엘의 입으로부터 하례를 받으신 분, 죄인들을 불쌍히 여기소서. 아멘.
