French text Allons, allons gay, gaiement, ma mignonne, vous et moi. Mon père a fait faire un château, d'or et d'argent sont les carreaux. Le roi n'en a pas de plus beau, allons, gay, ma mignonne, vous et moi.

English translation Come, come gaily, gaily, my pretty one, you and I. My father’s built a castle, with gold and silver stones. The king has not one so fair, come gaily, my beauty, you and I. Translation by Michael Nick
