Latin text Scindite corda vestra, et non vestimenta vestra: et convertimini ad Dominum Deum vestrum, quia benignus, et misericors, patiens, et multae misericordiae, et praestabilis super malitia.

English translation Rent your heart, and not your clothes: and turn unto the Lord your God, for he is gracious, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. (Geneva Bible)
