Description: Alternatim setting of psalm 114 (BCP) for the procession after Vespers on Easter Sunday and the following 5 days in the Use of Sarum. It is a companion piece to Sheppard's setting Laudate pueri Dominum for the same procession (q.v. Jason Smart's edition of that for a discussion of the procession). Sheppard composed bars 1–126 (the even verses 2-14), Byrd bars 127–177 (vv. 16-20a), and Mundy bars 178–end (vv. 21-Gloria Patri).
