Description: The last in a set of 16 Magnificats printed by P. Phalese 1563 as Canticum Beatae Mariae ... Per octo Musice modos variatum... The source does not include the chant for the odd verses. The voices are notated in Chiavetti. The "Essurientes implevit bonis" part is an ATB trio, and there are two alternatives for the concluding "Sicut erat": A Six part SSATTB setting where the second S-Voice is the T-Voice in a Canon at the octave. A four-part setting for high voices SSAT.
