1.
O mighty sing, sweet song,
Your name prolong,
And bear abroad your choral charm
far over the silvery sea.
To rout the wrong,
Still sweep along,
And sound aloud the joyful strain
of conquering melody.

Monarch, mountain, rock and hill,
your sombre silence bend merrily
o'er the mead on airy wing,
Your triple echo send, and cheerily sing
Victory! Victory! Victory!
Sing a joyous choral song of Victory!

2. Capriccio
Star of the morn! come o'er the sea,
And smile your sweetest gleam,
Oh! murmuring till your measure fill,
As you merrily sing in the glen,
Ye wandering winds waft o'er the lea,
The lay of the limped stream,
Oh! summer rain, Come join the strain,
to charm rebellious men.

(repeat #1)

3. Duet
Beautiful bird, in sweetest note heard,
Beneath the azure blue,
With shimmering gleam of merry moonbeam,
Now join in a song so true.
Fairest of flow'r, From fairy bow'r,
Of fragrant perfume vain,
With ambient air, Of purity rare,
Unite in loving strain!

(repeat #1)
