Ut radios edit rutilo carbunculum auro,
Sic inter Cereris munera Musa nitet.
Ut viridis nitido smaragdus in aere superbit,
Sic decet harmonicum carmen ubique merum
Quam subito mutat mentes symphonia vocum
Mentes emollit nec probat esse feras.

Non tenui Musae filo celebranda vetustas,
 Congressus coluit mentis honore pios,
Nulla fuit crapulae luxus venatio nusquam
 Ambitio longe bilis iniqua fuit.
Gestorum voluit portus convivia nervos
 Firmandi pariter foedus amicitiae.
