Hi, Alex-- Welcome to CPDL. We appreciate your taking steps to upload music onto the site. We had some questions about the copyright aspect of the Laudato Si edition you posted. It is listed as a work by a contemporary composer, and therefore appears that it would not have passed by default into the public domain due to when the work was written. Do you have indication that the composer consented to having the work posted on CPDL or gave up his copyright? We have similar questions about the translation used in the work, which may also be subject to separate copyright restrictions. CPDL is based in the U.S. and must take steps to ensure that our site operates consistently with U.S. copyright laws.
