Trahe me post te, Virgo Maria,
curremus in odorem unguentorum tuorum.
Quam pulchra es et quam decora, carissima in deliciis.
Statura tua assimilata est palmae et ubera tua botris.
Dixi: ascendam in palmam et apprehendam fructum eius
et erunt ubera tua sicut botri vineae et odor oris tui sicut odor malorum.

Correremos al olor de tus perfumes.
¡Qué hermosa eres y qué bella, queridísima en tus delicias.
Tu talle se asemeja a la palmera y tus pechos a los racimos.
Me dije: subiré a la palmera y cogeré su fruto
y serán tus pechos como racimos de uva y el olor de tu boca, aroma de manzanos.
