As Dolly and Nan were sweeping a room
The handle fell out of Dolly's broom,
"Take it up you foolish wench" says Nan,
"And thrust it in again as hard as you can",
"Hold, hold", cried John, "You're a silly pair,
Here's a better that will fit it to a hair".
