Template talk:KbdAcc

I wonder if the Keyboard accompaniment category should contain as subcategories, categories like Piano accompaniment, Harpsichord accompaniment, etc. I really don't know the answer to this question. In the past we have tried to suggest using KbdAcc when a piano, electric keyboard, or other keyboard instrument is considered appropriate and only use PnoAcc, OrgAcc, etc. when the accompaniment is specific to the instrument - but this philosopy has been honored more in the breach than in reality. -- Chuck_talk Giffen_♫ 05:02, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

From a hierarchical view point it would make sense to categorize them as you suggest, with the condition that they continue in Category:Accompaniment too. —Carlos  07:47, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
