Score errors in #22063

Bar 4, Alto II: http://www.brahms-institut.de/web/bihl_digital/jb_erstdrucke/op_042_part_s_008.html shows "e( f#) f#" instead of "e( f#) g#". The optional piano accompinament shows g# and no other voice has it. Also, when the motive is repeated for the fifth verse, the Alto has g#. So, probably score #22063 is correct, but might need a footnote. In score #22063 this is also relevant for bar (4)/24 [(score counter)/factual bar number]. -- --Cbrucher (talk) 08:56, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Score errors in #844

In bar 50 the notes in the second bass should be 'f natural' instead of 'g natural' (since the whole chord is an f major chord). Cilix42 17:34, 23 October 2006 (PDT)

Indeed, this seems correct. Could anyone with a published copy of the song confirm it? I just compiled a correction of the file, available here for upload. -- Arthur 2007-02-19 06:24 CET (05:24 UTC)
I checked the edition from Peters in a bookshop; it's indeed a natural F. I'm changing the file and removing the error tag. Note that the old file will still be available at the site for CPDL at Williams College (http://wso.williams.edu/cpdl/sheet/brahms/brah-422.pdf). Arthur 2007-02-25 05:31 CET (04:31 UTC)

Score error in 844: Measure 65 in Bass I should be B, A#, G# (not B, A#, F#). (Note similar figure in measures 2, 32, and 95.) Edinapete (talk) 20:06, 23 September 2012 (CDT)
