Hallo Herr Eichler! Ich freue mich immer über ihre sorgfältigen Editionen, egal ob Schein (Insraelsbrünnlein!) oder Schütz (toll der Becker Psalter). Nur jetzt beim 5-chörigen Magnificat irritiert die Bass-Stimme beim beginnenden (Solo-) Tenor. Da passt nix zu nix. Ich kann das gar nicht glauben. Was ist da wem passiert?

Hello, I’ve noticed the same discrepancy in the Bass part in the beginning. It’s clearly an error, just look at the incipit which has the same rests as the other parts except the solo Tenor. Also, the Spitta edition in the IMSLP has the solo Bass part singing with the other bass parts which seems correct and fitting.
