Talk:Felix Mendelssohn - list of choral works

There are also some works that do not carry opus numbers, like the Christmas cantata "Vom Himmel Hoch". Should it be included in the list, or needs it a different categorie?

For a composer such as Mendelssohn, it would be common practice to list the works without opus number at the end of the works list.Admin 14:49, 17 July 2006 (PDT)

I've suggested merging this page into the main composer page since we now have an alphabetical list in Felix Mendelssohn compositions. What are people's thoughts? --Bobnotts talk 14:13, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps - I'm not sure, Rob, the list on his page is not an exact equivalent of the category, since in his page works are sorted alphabetically by "main work". On the other side, this list by Opus number, though very informative, might be too long to be on his page. I'd say to keep them as they are, but rename this page to "list by Opus number" . —Carlos Email.gif 14:29, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Perhaps also. Has anyone "adopted" the Mendelssohn page? At any rate, Carlos makes a good suggestion. -- Chucktalk Giffen 16:38, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
