I saw a swete semly syght,
A blisful birde, a blossum bright
That murnyng made and mirth of mange.

Lullay lullow, lully lully,
Bewy bewy,

Baw baw my barne, slepe softly now.

A maydin moder, mek and myld,
In cradil kepe a knave child
That softly slepe. Scho sate and sange:
