I.
Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied,
denn er tut Wunder!
II.
Und er sieget mit seiner Rechten
und mit seinen heiligen Arm.
Jauchzt dem Herrn alle Welt!
Singet, rühmet, und lobet,
III.
Singet!

English.png English translation

I.
Sing to the Lord, sing a new song,
who has done wonders!
II.
And He conquers with His strong right hand
and with His holy arm.
Shout for Him all the world!
Sing ye, praise Him and laud Him!
III.
Praise and extol Him with harp songs and with psalt’ry
and with the trumpets and with trombones!
Let the sea roar and all that is therein,
the earth shout out and all that dwell there,
the streams of water shall clap hands,
and all the hills shall sing together to the Lord!
Sing to the Lord, sing a new song,
sing ye, praise and laud Him! Sing ye!
