Description: This quodlibet combines four spirituals into a rousing introit or anthem. It can be performed with guitar and bass as shown, or with a Bluegrass ensemble (guitar, five string banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and bass) or a Dixieland band (trumpet, clarinet, trombone, tenor banjo, tuba, and drums). Improvisation and interpolations to taste are encouraged.

This train is bound for glory,
get on board for the Gospel story!

Oh when the Saints go marchin' in,
Lord I want to be in that number,
when the Saints go marchin' in.

Swing low, sweet chariot,
comin' for to carry me home.
