1. Shout! ye sons and daughters!
Christmas Day is here!
Like the mighty waters
Ring the song of cheer!

Refrain:
Shout! ye sons and daughters!
Man is reconciled!
Christ has come to save us,
Born a little child.

2. Tell again the story
Of our Saviours birth;
Send the song of glory
Over all the earth!

3. From a lowly manger
Came He to His own,
Came, a homeless stranger,
From His heavenly throne.

4. But He brought salvation
To each human soul!
Bow in adoration!
He hath made us whole.

5. Oh! we love Him truly!
For He me in love,
To create us newly
For the realms above.
