Se per servirti ogn' hora,
unico del mio cor idolo e Nume,
hai sempre per costume
di rendernit' ingrato,
ahi che grave peccato.

Lasso poss'io ben dire
ch'habbi di smalto il core o di diamante,
se l'esser mio constante
non ha giamai giovato,
che non mi fuss'ingrato.

Non credevo io giamai
ch'un' amor cosi saldo fifo e forte,
troncar potesse morte,
ma ahi ingrat'a mercede,
rompe amorosa fede.

Dhe se miei giusti preghi
ponno haver loco fa che di saetta,
facci degna vendetta,
d'un cos'ingrato core
per me, dolce signore.
