„Der Müller im Tal!" —sprach Gotelind.

„Wie, wenn ich dich freite, schönes Kind?"
„Zu viel der Ehre!" —sprach Gotelind.

„Was hast du zur Mitgift, schönes Kind?"
„Herr, mein Gesichte!" —sprach Gotelind.

„So kann ich dich nicht wohl frein, mein Kind."
