Quanti mercenarii in domo patris mei abundant panibus,
ego autem hic fame pereo,
surgam et ibo ad patrem meum et dicam ei:

Pater peccavi in coelum et coram te.
Iam non sum dignus vocari filius tuus,
fac me sicut unum ex mercenariis tuis.
