Edition notes: This Antiphon is sung by Priest or Cantor three times after Procession in Ascension at the start of the Mass, every time the small 2nd higher. After the 3rd time there is Verse with Response and the Prayer.

Description: In some countries there is a traditional Procession in the solemnity of Ascension of the Lord at the start of the principal Mass. After this procession the Priest takes the Crucifix and sings 3 times the Antiphon "Ascendo", but the Choir responds "Deum meum".
