English text
R.: A sower went out to sow.
Seeds fell and fell and fell;
on all types of ground they fell around,
but most did not do too well.
1. Some seed fell on the path,
but birds came down to feed.
They ate it away the seed.
R.
2. Some seed fell on the rocks,
the soil there was not deep.
The sun then came out,
and burned away the seed.
R.
3. Some seed fell in the thorns,
the thorns had grow too high.
They choked it away,
the seed began to die.
R.
4. But a few seeds fell on good soil
and grew and grew and grew
some hundred times more;
and all of them grew!
