Description: Source: MS Capp. Sist. 55. Pope Clement VII was an admirer of the short-lived Conseil, and although the works ascribed to this composer are not all of the same quality, 'O desolatorum consolator' is one that shows the Pope to have been an excellent judge.

lumen caecorum,
auditus surdorum,
mutorum eloquium,
tutor naufragantium,
impotentium et languidorum sanator,
medicinae refugia errantium,
salus omnium in te sperantium,
