Levita Laurentius bonum opus operatus est, qui per signum cruces caecos illuminavit, et thesauros Ecclesiae dedit pauperibus.
English translation
The deacon Lawrence hath wrought a good work, he who, by the sign of the cross, gave sight to the blind and gave the treasures of the Church to the poor.
