Italian text
Leggiadrissima eterna Primavera,
Vive scherzand'à questi colli intorno,
E senza mai temer nuvole ò fera,
Ride piu lieto e piu sereno il giorno.
Già le Muse e le gratie in bella schiera,
Cantand'al suon de liquidi cristalli,
Fan dolcemente risonar le valli,
E garreggiand'i pargoletti Amori,
Chiaman Ninfe e Pastori,
A novelle dolcezze à nuovi balli,
Fiammeggia'l ciel di piu pregiati ardori,
Che'l tutt'adorna il tutt'inform'accende,
L'honor ch'in Flavia e ch'in Virginio splende.
