Laudate coeli, quoniam misericordiam fecit Dominus:
jubilate, extrema terræ;
resonate montes laudationem:
saltus et omne lignum eius,
quoniam redemit Dominus [Jacob] Sion,
et Israël gloriabitur.
Alleluia.

English translation

Give praise, O ye heavens, for the Lord has shown mercy:
Let the ends of the earth shout with joy;
Let the mountains resound with praise,
the forest, and every tree therein,
for the Lord has redeemed Sion,
and Israel shall be glorified.
Alleluia.
